Message Are those green , blue and red lines approximations to aid in understanding or are they actual representations based on empirical data or calculations? Reason i ask is because of 2 things.

1. The green line seems like it would spool fast but well into the surge area (left side) causing compressor surge. Similar to the problem on EVOs where some GT35r's seem to have compressor surge due to using a too small turbine housing.

2. If we look at flow #'s it seems as if the .64 a/r setup is the best since it seems to flow a good amount of air and still makes a good bit of boost. BTW i have seen right around 28 psi on GT28rs turbos with the .64 a/r - never really tried the .86 a/r

I do agree with everything else in your post.
